Simmons Named Interim CEO
COLUMBIA, Md.-The Maryland and DC CU Association has named Jennifer Simmons Interim CEO in the wake of the departure of Mike Beall, who is taking over as president of the Missouri CU Association. Simmons has been with the association since June 2006 and has a 20-year career in CUs.
Penn. Group Visiting Haiti
HARRISBURG, Penn.-A delegation from Pennsylvania's CUs will be in Haiti this week to explore what role the Pennsylvania CU Association and Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU can play in helping to rebuild Haiti's remittance system. The delegation includes: are Joseph Wambach of the Pennsylvania CU Foundation, and his wife, Wambach's wife, Dr. Maryse Wambach, who is originally from Haiti; Christine Woods, CEO of Keystone FCU, and Dave Ackerman, CEO of USX FCU.
