North Dakota's Town & Country CU names new CEO

Town & Country Credit Union, a $398 million institution based in Minot, N.D., appointed Jeremiah Kossen as its new president and CEO.

Kossen succeeds Darrell Olson, who retired on September 30.

The credit union said Kossen has spent his “entire working career” within the financial services industry, with positions at the Comptroller of the Currency and the National Credit Union Administration, as well as Lake Michigan Credit Union, now a $5.2 billion-asset institution based in Grand Rapids, Mich.

At Lake Michigan CU, he served as chief risk officer/senior vice president, vice president of operations, director of audit and chief operating officer.

Kossen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science/pre-law from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Mich., and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Wayne State University in Detroit.

Town & Country posted net income of about $4.5 million in 2016, after recording net income of about $5.5 million in the prior year.
