Redbeard Donates Its Services
HOLLISTER, Calif.-Redbeard Communications, a brand strategy and creative design firm specializing in the financial industry, donated its design expertise to benefit the E Cubed Foundation (Encourage, Educate, Enrich), an organization based in Tres Pinos, Calif. that provides financial support for educational enrichment programs such as fine arts, foreign languages, life sciences and music programs. As part of the foundation's fundraiser, a "Trail Ride And Old Rancho Dinner," Redbeard helped the group to raise more than $60,000, in addition to providing other support.
TSCCU Selects MY CU Services
HELENA, Mont.-Treasure State Corporate Credit Union said it will partner with MY CU Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Mid-Atlantic Corporate, to offer Electronic Bill Payment (EBP) to Treasure State Corporate's member credit unions. Credit unions that sign up for the service will utilize MY CU(r) Services for back-end processing and the remittance of payments.
Municipal CU To TWS Systems
CLEARWATER, Fla.-Municipal Credit Union (MCU) has selected TWS Systems, Inc.'s IMAGECENTER solutions in preparation for Check 21. The $1-billion, New York City-based MCU selected several of the IMAGECENTER modules, including ALERTMANAGER, a real-time fraud prevention solution, and OMEGA, a Microsoft.NET-based ATM deposit management solution that automates the processing and management of an ATM deposit. The TWS solutions will figure prominently in the MCU Image Exchange strategy.

CECU Selects Ventus Networks
SAN ANTONIO-the $245-million San Antonio City Employees FCU (CECU) has switched the majority of its ATMs to cellular wireless technology, allowing it to move ATMs to new locations without interrupting service. The technology is being provided by Ventus Networks, which conducted site surveys prior to installation. Ventus Networks said it has peering agreements with each of the major cellular and PCS carriers, and has created a secure, nation-wide optical network that connects directly to the carrier's backbone.
