SAN DIEGO – San Diego County Credit Union is returning as presenting sponsor of the fifth annual Sea World Shamu & You Family Walk for Rady Children’s Hospital, to be held Oct. 1 at 8 a.m. at South Shores Park in Mission Bay.
SDCCU has supported this event since its inception in 2007. This year, more than 3,000 participants are expected to take part in the annual walk to help raise money for Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. The Walk will feature Sea World characters, flamingos and other animals along a one- or four-mile course that begins at the South Shores Park boat ramp on South Shores Road, a bayside park located just east of Sea World San Diego. Registration cost is $35 for adults and $25 for children ages 13 and under. All participants will receive a t-shirt, free admission to the post-walk festivities and a 50% discount coupon to return to Sea World after the Walk (valid Oct. 1-7 only).
