Sunmark Federal CU Signs ATM Agreement With KeyBank

The $387-million Sunmark Federal CU signed an accord with the $91-billion KeyBank to allow its 46,000 members access to the bank's ATMs.

Sunmark said in a statement that its members will be able to use 289 ATMs of the bank without paying surcharges, including all withdrawals, money transfers, balance reviews, the statement said.

Sunmark's FCU President and CEO Bruce Beaudette said that the agreement would help provide members "a broader range of services."

KeyBank has more than 125 "agent bank partners" across the country. "Our experience with operating a premier ATM network makes us an ideal partner for Sunmark," said Thomas Geisel, who is the bank's president of the Capital Region District, Albany.

KeyBank is owned by KeyCorp., based in Cleveland. Sunmark is community chartered.
