FORT WORTH, Texas – Tarrant County CU has signed with Institution Solutions to offer the company’s Hospital Accident Protection insurance to members.
The program provides members of the $61-million credit union with cash benefits in the event of hospitalization or even a trip to the emergency room due to a covered accident.
The HAP program, provided by AXIS Insurance Company, is a supplement to a member’s regular health insurance. In the event of an accidental injury, HAP pays enrolled members cash for each day they are hospitalized, in intensive care, a one-time emergency room visit, or in the case of an accidental death.
HAP is marketed to members under their credit union’s logo via direct mail pieces and e-mail campaigns, while being fulfilled online by seamlessly integrating with the credit union’s website.
