LONG BEACH, Wash. – A masked man threatened a female employee then shot pepper-spray at three employees before escaping with almost $7,000 yesterday from the Great Northwest FCU branch here. The robber burst into the credit union around 11 am and grabbed a female employee who he used as a hostage, to demand two other employees behind the teller counter. He then grabbed cash and forced the three employees into a bathroom where he pepper-sprayed them, and fled. The trio escaped within minutes and called police.
