Washtenaw FCU In ATM Deal For Historic Renovation

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Washtenaw FCU, formerly Ypsilanti FCU, has signed with the city to place an ATM in the renovated Ypsilanti Freighthouse.

Under the deal, the credit union will provide an ATM for the building with a five-year lease agreement that includes a $10,000 advance payment. Profits from the machine will be split equally.

The Ypsilanti Freighthouse is a landmark building that was part of the Michigan Central Railroad Complex in Depot Town, which played an important role in the growth and development of Ypsilanti and southeastern Michigan in the 1800s. The building is currently being revitalized as the heart of the Ypsilanti community in the 21st Century.
