Northern Redwood FCU, Arcata, Calif., participated in the 51st Annual Rhododendron Parade in Eureka, Calif. The CU won the Sweepstakes Award for most beautiful float. The theme of the parade was "Celebrating Milestones," and the CU designed its float to highlight its 60th anniversary.
NAE FCU, Chesapeake, Va., donated $10,000 to Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia. In the past 5 years, NAE FCU has donated more than $40,000 to Make-A-Wish Greater VA.
The First Financial FCU Foundation awarded $500 to South Toms River Elementary School to sponsor the school's annual Career Day Program for students.
Pacific Marine CU, Oceanside, Calif., in partnership with Armed Forces Bank, donated a total of sixty $50 "Thank You" gift cards through the Armed Forces Financial Network Military Community Support Program to two local Fisher Houses.
