Alliance Data Systems Corp. said Thursday that it has signed a new long-term agreement to issue private-label credit cards on behalf of women's clothing retailer Christopher & Banks Inc.
Under the agreement, Alliance Data will provide Christopher & Banks and its division, CJ Banks, with services including receivables funding, card authorization, credit card issuance, statement generation, remittance processing and customer service functions. Alliance Data also will handle account acquisition, activation and retention strategies.
Alliance Data said that it will provide credit card account holders with benefits designed to support repeat purchases and strengthen loyalty by using the company's existing rewards program.
