Bill Borden will manage the North America product sales teams in global corporate and other business banking. He was most recently responsible for leading Citigroup's team that developed relationships with state and local governments to sell them cash management and securities fund services.

Dennis Sweeney was also named as managing director and a treasury solutions executive, Bank of America said Tuesday. He will work with various parts of the company to provide customers with advice on trends related to their treasury platforms. Sweeney was previously at General Electric (GE) for 20 years, most recently as deputy treasurer.

Borden and Sweeney will join in September and be based in New York.
