Banc of California Hires Correspondent Lending Team

Banc of California (BANC) in Irvine has hired a group of bankers to lead its new correspondent lending group.

Michael Falce, Larry Maitlin and Judy Treichler have joined the company's Pacific Trust Bank subsidiary, it announced Wednesday. They head the correspondent lending division that Pacific Trust recently added to its residential lending division.

The three joined Pacific Trust in July from Impac Mortgage's correspondent lending division. They "are proven, experienced leaders with a client-focused service model that will fit well as part of our new platform," Jeff Seabold, managing director of the residential lending division, said in a news release.

The $2.5 billion-asset Banc of California reported a $4.4 million second-quarter profit Wednesday. It changed its name from First PacTrust last month.
