BankAtlantic Bancorp Inc. announced a system for mobile banking access through text messages.
The text message service, announced Monday, is provided by Intuit Inc.'s financial services business. It allows fund transfers, balance inquiries, low-balance alerts and other functions through most mobile phones.
BankAtlantic, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., does not charge a fee for access to the service.
