Billtrust has added a new product to its suite of btConnect accounts receivable automation services.

The product, btConnect for eBanking, lets billers expedite the bill delivery and payment process by enabling consumers to receive and pay their bills at their bank's bill pay site. This results in improved customer satisfaction, lower billing costs and additional electronic payments, Billtrust said in late November.

The product is available as a complete service as well as a la carte presentment and payment options.

"btConnect for eBanking facilitates one of the fastest-growing channels for paying bills — the customer's own e-banking portal," Flint Lane, Billtrust chief executive and president, said in a news release. "As a customer centric service it is designed to improve how businesses transact with their customers. Even more, it eliminates paper, reduces labor and printing costs, and increases accuracy and efficiency."

Billtrust, based in Hamilton, N.J., provides outsourced, customer-centric billing products.
