Charter Financial Names Executive

Charter Financial Inc., New York, a nationwide provider of equipment financing, promoted president Henry Frommer to vice chairman. Gary A. Corr succeeded Mr. Frommer as president and also became chief operating officer. Mr. Frommer is responsible for managing business development. A co- founder of Charter Financial with Alan A. Fischer, its chairman and chief executive officer, Mr. Frommer had been president since 1986. Mr. Corr will be responsible for day-to-day operations. He had been executive vice president and chief financial officer since 1994. Earlier he had been head of capital markets at Citicorp Leasing.
