City National (CYN) of Los Angeles has partnered with Cachet Financial Solutions and Panini to provide remote deposit capture to Apple Macintosh desktop users.
The $23.7 billion-asset bank has provided RDC since 2006 and has extended its offering to Mac-based small businesses using Cachet's Select Business Mac and the Panini I:Deal check scanner. Merchant trials began in mid-2011.
About a quarter of City National's clients use Mac products and the bank currently has more than 25 business customers using the program, Cachet said Wednesday.
Cachet, based in Minneapolis, provides remote deposit capture products while Panini, based in Turin, Italy, provides payments processing technology.
