CNF Exchange, an online service that connects lenders with prequalified borrowers, will no longer charge lenders for most of the features on its platform.
Borrowers — individuals, companies and commercial real estate entities — use the service to connect to a network of banks; angel investors; small business and commercial finance companies; institutional, private and mezzanine lenders; and private equity and venture capital firms looking for opportunities.
On the upgraded platform, lenders will have the ability to access matching financing requests, manage financing criteria and access deals that are current and in real time, the Clearwater, Fla., company said Tuesday. With access to all borrower postings within the network, lenders will be able to use advanced search options such as the Google Maps geographic locator.
After finding potential deals on CNF Exchange, lenders can select an option that notifies the borrower of their interest.
