Dollar Bank Expands Use of NCR ATMs, Software

NCR (NCR) has logged an order for automated teller machines from Dollar Bank in Pittsburgh.

The global technology company said Wednesday that the $6.2 billion-asset institution is expected to install 60 of NCR's SelfServ ATMs this summer.

The ATMs, which feature NCR's so-called scalable deposit module that enables them to accept deposits of cash and checks simultaneously, will replace existing older, non-NCR units.

Separately, Dollar will replace 10 ATMs with traditional NCR ATMs and use APTRA Edge software to run all the ATMs on its network.

Last summer, Dollar installed video ATMs from NCR at two locations in the Pittsburgh area.

Dollar has 65 branches throughout western Pennsylvania and northeatern Ohio.
