Fenergo Updates Data Management Software

Financial technology company Fenergo has unveiled a new version of a product designed to help with data management and compliance.

The Dublin-based company has updated and enhanced its Client & Counterparty Data Management product, it said Wednesday. The new version is said to provide real-time legal entity data consolidation and cleansing (including data mapping, standardization, augmentation, de-duplication and remediation).

The new version is intended to help clients prepare for new regulations such as Dodd-Frank and FATCA, which will require improved data management and compliance, the company said. In addition, the solution also provides enhanced business intelligence to financial institutions looking to increase revenue through upsell and cross-sell opportunities in their onboarding processes.

"Our enhanced Client & Counterparty Data Management solution is designed to help financial institutions accurately measure risk exposure and comply with an ever-growing list of regulations," said Fenergo chief executive Marc Murphy in the news release. "By making legal entity data as easily accessible as possible in the correct, standardized format and available on demand, financial institutions can ensure they are meeting their obligations under all the various regulations."
