First United Bancorp in Madisonville, Ky., has agreed to buy Town & Country Financial in Beaver Dam, Ky.
The $201 million-asset First United will combine Town & Country's Bank of Ohio County with its own First United Bank & Trust. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in early 2016.
The $95 million-asset Bank of Ohio County was founded in 1922 and has two branches in Beaver Dam and Dundee, Ky.
First United Bank & Trust has three branches in Hopkins County, Ky. This would be First United's first acquisition in its 19-year history.
