USAmeriBank of Largo, Fla., has purchased a building in Tampa, Fla., where it intends to open a new branch and staff it with 25 new hires.
The pending branch will be the bank's 11th in the Tampa Bay area. About half of the 8,000-square-foot space will be a retail branch while the rest will host USAmeriBank's professional and executive banking group, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported Friday.
The new branch should open in the fourth quarter. The $2.2 billion-asset USAmeriBank has 225 employees in Florida and is looking for new hires in accounting, deposit operations, training, sales and financial analysis, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported.
