Former Experian Exec Joins Bank of Hawaii Board

Victor K. Nichols, a former executive at Experian, has joined the board of the Bank of Hawaii in Honolulu.

Nichols was most recently chief executive of the credit agency's North American division. He also previously served as chief information officer at Wells Fargo and has held senior management roles at Bank of America.

"Victor's professional background and expertise in strategic planning and information technology will add valuable perspective to our board," Peter Ho, chairman, president and chief executive of the $14.3 billion-asset Bank of Hawaii, said in a press release Tuesday. "He brings a global experience well suited for the rapidly growing role of technology in the financial services industry."

Nichols' appointment took effect Friday. He will serve on the board's audit and risk committee.
