Delta Community Credit Union in Atlanta has agreed to use online bill payment services from Online Resources Corp. of Chantilly, Va.
The $2.8 billion-asset credit union plans to begin using the PayAnyone service by mid-2009, Online Resources said Monday. Delta also plans to offer its members Online Resources' expedited payment service for making same-day payments to billers.
The PayAnyone service includes Online Resources' Real-Time Digital Scanline technology, which immediately validates payment and merchant information and is part of the vendor's Unite Financial Services suite of applications aimed at community banks and credit unions.
Carol Sundberg, the credit union's senior vice president of e-commerce, said in an Online Resources press release that the vendor's "payments infrastructure and innovative technology provides us the opportunity to take advantage of new services, such as expedited payments."
