Graber Hires IDC Analyst Capachin for PR and Marketing Team

Graber Associates has hired a long-time fintech analyst to work with its public relations and marketing clients.

Jeanne Capachin has been named the firm's senior consultant for financial services and technology. She will also write about banking-technology innovation for the Graber Associates blog.

Capachin spent the past 13 years as an analyst for IDC Financial Insights and its predecessor Meridien Research. Earlier, she held positions with Bank of Boston and the New England Automated Clearing House.

Graber Associates president Ray Graber says that his acquaintance with Capachin goes back some 25 years.

"In the course of having lunch from time to time, I would say, 'If you ever get tired of the rat race, come on over,'" he said. "We are absolutely overjoyed to have her as part of the team."

Capachin says that she will advise banks, including community banks, and fintech companies for the Burlington, Mass.-based PR, marketing and research firm, and that she will be responsible for expanding the services that the company offers its clients. She hopes that working with a smaller company like Graber Associates will allow her more freedom in writing about banking and technology issues.

"I could not be happier to be joining the GA team; they are professional, knowledgeable, and fun to work with," Capachin said in a news release. "They are also former bankers and technology gurus. It's a perfect match."
