Applications are now open for American Banker's program that recognizes the Best Banks to Work For.

The annual ranking highlights institutions that are an employer of choice and the results are compiled with the Best Companies Group. Last year, 90 banks were included on the list. The honorees were noted for providing great benefits to staff members, offering unusual perks and creating a fun work environment.

There is no cost to apply and participate. Banks must have at least 50 employees working in the U.S. Institutions that are retail, commercial, savings and mutual savings banks are all eligible to apply. Thrifts, mutual associations and savings and loan associations are all also eligible to apply.

Credit unions are not eligible for this ranking and instead should apply for the Best Credit Unions to Work For program.

The ranking is determined by two assessments conducted by the Best Companies Group. One part is based on a questionnaire completed by the bank's management team about employee benefits and policies. The second is an in-depth survey that staff members take that dives into their experience of working at the applying bank.

Last year's coverage was featured in American Banker Magazine and on the American Banker website and can be viewed here

The registration deadline is May 10. Please contact Jackie Stewart at jaclyn.stewart@arizent.com with any questions.
