HR Simplified Inc., a Minneapolis provider of employee benefit services, is using a software program to manage account balances from Fidelity National Information Services Inc.

FIS said Thursday that HR Simplified deployed the BenSoft program, which manages flexible benefit account balances and claims administration processes. It also includes multipurse benefit debit card services and imaging capabilities.

By using the program, the company can convert claim forms and receipt requests received by fax to electronic images to speed up the settlement process for debit card transactions and reimbursement requests.

HR Simplified participants also can log into the BenSoft member portal to upload receipt images for pending transactions.

"This new imaging capability is a strategic initiative for us and gives our participants the ability to upload their claims online," Mike Melnychuk, HR Simplified's president and chief executive, said in a press release.
