Bank of New York's brokerage arm has made Frederick J. Bailey a managing director.
Mr. Bailey, 48, joined BNY Brokerage Inc. last February as the national sales manager for plan sponsor sales marketing for transition management, commission recapture, and corporate buybacks. His promotion was announced Thursday.
He came to the company from Ambac Securities, where he was a national sales manager. Earlier he was a managing director of fixed-income at UBS PaineWebber.
