Genworth Financial said Monday that James H. Reinhart has joined it as the operations executive for the retirement income and investments division.

Mr. Reinhart was hired from Capital One and before that worked at Hewlett-Packard. He reports directly to Pam Schutz, the president and chief executive officer of Genworth's retirement income and investments business.

The division is based in Richmond, Va., and offers fixed, variable, and income annuities; variable life insurance; asset management; and specialized products like guaranteed investment contracts, funding agreements, and structured settlements.
