Maplesoft Launches Consulting Services

Software company Maplesoft announced Tuesday that it's launching a consulting service.

The Canadian unit of Cybernet Systems already designs mathematical risk models that could be applied to banking. Now, Maplesoft said in a press release, it will be making its developers available to customers looking to complete their own projects.

"For some time now, our customers have been telling us that they have gaps in their resources when it comes to implementing … modeling and simulation projects," said Paul Goossens, Maplesoft's vice president of applications engineering.

The company already works with Bloomberg and Dreamworks, among other clients.
