Marble Cloud Offers Security for Cloud Implementations

Marble Cloud has introduced cloud security software.

Marble Access provides an end-to-end hardened environment that protects against Trojans, man-in-the-middle, man-in-the-browser, malevolent Wi-Fi networks and DNS poisoning attacks, Marble Cloud, formerly known as IronKey, said last week. It is a secure multilayer environment for accessing the cloud on any employee-owned computer.

The product includes Marble App, which is self-configuring based on policies defined by enterprise on the Marble Cloud management service. End users can also access the Marble Network, an on-the-go VPN service that encrypts all cloud access on any Wi-Fi hotspot.

Marble Access is available on iPhones, iPads, Macs, laptops, PCs, Android smartphones and tablets.

Marble Cloud is based in Sunnyvale, Calif.  Imation Corp., which acquired the IronKey secure mobile storage business and products last year, now owns the IronKey brand.
