The next version of Microsoft Surface is now available for preorder through Samsung resellers in the United States and 22 other countries.
The Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface features PixelSense technology, giving LCD panels the ability to see without the use of cameras, according to a Thursday press release. This technology recognizes up to 50 points of simultaneous touch and allows users to share and collaborate using a large thin display.
With the Samsung SUR40, Surface computing will be more accessible for education, financial and professional services, healthcare, hospitality, retail and manufacturing industries, Somanna Palacanda, the director of Microsoft Surface, said in a press release.
