Parascript has built its check recognition engine technology into its form processing software, thus offering financial institutions one program with which they can process information from checks and remittances, along with forms, mortgage applications and other documents.
The data capture company in Longmont, Colo. is also introducing subscription and per-use pricing in FormXtra 5.3 and FormXtra Capture 5.3. The latest version also includes the company's check-recognition system and a web services capability that facilitates the system's suitability for mobile use.
"Our advanced software is an all-in-one solution that reduces the guesswork and lifts the burden many companies face in accurately and quickly capturing information from forms and other documents," Dwayne Ritchie, Parascript's senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in a press release. "With this announcement, we are opening the floodgates on giving companies greater access to information from a wide variety of formats."
