Paychex Inc., a payroll and benefits outsourcer, said Friday that it plans to offer an online resource kit for small-business owners the week of May 16.

The Rochester, N.Y., company's kit consists of articles and tools provided by Paychex and resources from the Small Business Administration. The kit guides business owners in the creation of a business plan as well as how to apply for a business loan. The rollout coincides with National Small Business Week.
"The new small-business resource kit is designed to make it easy and convenient for small-business owners to access information and tools they need to start and grow their company," Martin Mucci, the president and chief executive of Paychex, said in a press release.
