Peoples in Ohio Names Former PNC Exec CFO

Peoples Bancorp in Marietta, Ohio, has hired John C. Rogers as its chief financial officer and treasurer. He starts Nov. 30.

Rogers is replacing Edward G. Sloane, who announced his resignation from the $3.2 billion-asset bank earlier in the week to pursue other career opportunities. He had been with the bank since 2008.

Most recently Rogers was a risk executive at PNC Financial Services Group in Pittsburgh, a position he had held since November 2011. Previously he was CFO of PNC's consumer lending division and its retail and mortgage businesses. He has also served as an audit manager at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
