Seacoast in California Creates Chief Operating Officer Post

Seacoast Commerce Bank (SCCB) in San Diego has named a new chief operating officer.

The $201 million-asset bank based said Friday that it had promoted David Bartram to the newly created post. Bartram had managed the bank's small-business division.

Bartram's "understanding of not only the SBA program, but of how to develop, grow, and operate a successful financial institution led to this much-deserved promotion," Richard Sanborn, Seacoasts' chief executive, said in a press release. "I look forward to his continued long-term contributions."

Earnings at Seacoast rose 74% in 2012 from a year earlier, to $4 million.
