Seattle Bank Hires New Chief

Seattle Bank has hired a new chief executive.

John Blizzard, who has more than 23 years of banking and financial services experience, most recently served as president and chief executive of Northwest Bank in Boise, Idaho. He succeeded Patrick Patrick, who has been the $216 million-asset Seattle Bank's CEO for four years.

The move also represents a homecoming for Blizzard who once spent seven years running the mortgage and escrow operation at Seattle Bank’s mortgage subsidiary.

"I'm thrilled to be joining such a great team of employees and investors in such a vibrant part of the country where there's tremendous opportunity to build a true relationship bank," Blizzard said in a press release.
