Short Takes: Bessemer Exec Moves To Fiduciary Trust

Fiduciary Trust Company International hired Thomas K. Loizeaux for its business development group in New York to bring in more wealthy individuals and families as clients.

Mr. Loizeaux, a vice president, was hired last month from Bessemer Trust Co., also in New York, where he worked five years in a similar post. He joins six other business development executives who report to executive vice president Henry C. Barkhorn 3d.

"Tom is an enthusiastic, down-to-earth, entrepreneurial new business developer," Mr. Barkhorn said in a prepared statement. He added that Mr. Loizeaux is "highly successful at identifying and establishing new relationships for individuals and trusts, particularly for first-generation wealth."

Mr. Loizeaux received his MBA from Duke University and his bachelor's degree from Williams College.

Fiduciary, founded in 1931 by a group of affluent families, manages more than $37 billion of assets for individual and institutional investors, such as foundations, government entities, and international organizations.
