Sony Bank Uses Vasco Authentication Technology

Sony Bank has implemented Vacman authentication technology from Vasco Data Security International (VDSI) to improve security for its internet banking service.

Digipass Go 7 is a device that generates one-time passwords. These passwords only last for a limited time period and then become invalid. According to the company, the Vacman authentication platform can accommodate large volumes of end users.

Vasco, based in Chicago, is a supplier of authentication and e-signature products and services for internet transactions. Sony, a unit of Sony Financial Holdings, is a Japanese commercial bank established in 2001.
