Startup BlueRidge Bank Beefing Up in Baltimore Market

BlueRidge Bank in Frederick, Md., is expanding its operations in the Baltimore metropolitan area by converting its year-old commercial loan office there into a full-service branch.

Opening Monday in Towson, Md., the branch will offer a range of traditional deposit and loan products, including residential mortgage loans, safe deposit boxes, an automated teller machine and a night depository in addition to commercial banking.

The Baltimore banking team, led by Tim Daly, executive vice president, Hugh Robinson, senior vice president, and Mary Ellen Barthelme, vice president, will relocate from an existing office in Towson to the new branch in The Nottingham Centre.

BlueRidge Bank, established in April 2008, has almost $140 million of assets.
