SunGard has agreed to acquire Strohl System Group, a popular provider of the PLANet business continuity planning software and services to community banks and credit unions. SunGard plans to incorporate Strohl within its own portfolio of SunGard Availability Services.
Strohl’s other properties include its LDRPS continuity planning software; BIA Professional risk assessment tool; notification tool NotiFind; and Incident Manager, which is a virtual emergency operations solution.
SunGard will carry on support of Strohl’s existing customer base, which includes 2,000 clients in 20 countries, and 30 percent of the Fortune 500. Financial terms were not disclosed.
