The credit bureau TransUnion LLC is using the on-demand Vindicia CashBox service for its online billing management, the vendor, Vindicia Inc. of Redwood City, Calif., announced.

The Chicago credit bureau is using the service at TransUnion Interactive, its direct-to-consumer unit, for one-time and subscription-based transactions, Vindicia said Monday.

It said TransUnion Interactive selected it after a comprehensive competitive review.

"Vindicia provides us with a flexible billing infrastructure that will enable us to easily scale as demand increases," John Danaher, the president of TransUnion Interactive, said in the vendor's press release. TransUnion Interactive handles more than 20,000 transactions daily.
