UniCredit Deploys Tealeaf Online Customer Behavior Monitoring Software

European bank UniCredit is using Tealeaf Technology Inc.'s customer experience management software to track customer behavior on its website.

The software works alongside the bank's Web banking platform to track sessions by observing the flow of data and other information between the browser and other systems.

UniCredit has already used the software to uncover an issue with its online loan application form, Tealeaf, based in San Francisco, said on Tuesday. Customers were struggling with the wording of a particular field and were entering incorrect personal data.

UniCredit is based in Italy and has almost 10,000 branches in 22 countries.
