U.S. Bank in Minneapolis has hired a retail veteran to oversee the way its various delivery channels interact.
Beau Gray is now head of the $423 billion-asset bank's omnichannel experience team, it announced Monday.
Gray previously worked at the electronics retailer Best Buy, where he was vice president of customer experience and strategy. Before that he held similar positions at the department store chain Kohl's and the clothing retailer American Eagle Outfitters.
In his new role, Gray will oversee the strategy and design of customers' digital experience. For banks, omnichannel banking has grown increasingly synonymous with digital banking as they seek to give customers more options to engage and interact digitally.
"U.S. Bank is committed to providing customers a consistent experience with the bank whether they come to us through mobile, online, ATM, by phone or in person at the branch," Gareth Gaston, executive vice president of omnichannel banking, said in a news release.
