Citibank NA on Jan. 4 announced the launch of a line of credit cards designed to enable consumers to earn more benefits within Citi’s ThankYou rewards program.
The program includes four card options, and consumers may choose the card level that best meets their needs, Citi noted in a news release. The four cards include the ThankYou card, the ThankYou Preferred card, the ThankYou Premier card and the ThankYou Prestige card.
The premier and prestige cards carry annual fees of $125 and $500 respectively. The two others charge no annual fees.
Each card offers specific benefits, such as no expiration on points as long as the card is used each year, bonus points for enrolling in paperless statements or online banking, and airline miles and bonus points for each dollar they spend at supermarkets, drug stores, gas stations, and transportation and parking merchants.
Cardholders may redeem their points for various rewards, including electronics and gift cards, or toward charitable donations. Redemption offers begin at 100 points.
