Domino's Adds Google Wallet as Payment Option

Domino's Pizza customers with Android devices can now pay for their pizza through the Google Wallet.

The Ann Arbor, Mich.-based pizza chain says it has integrated Google Wallet with the Domino's Android ordering application. Domino's customers interested in using Google Wallet can set up an account within Domino's mobile app or on the Google Wallet website.

Previously, those using the Domino's ordering app could choose to pay with a payment card or pay with cash when a delivery arrived.

Domino's is offering customers a free order of its specialty chicken to those who use the "Buy with Google" button at checkout on the mobile app through June 15.

Google Wallet allows its users to store debit cards, credit cards or loyalty cards on a smartphone.

"This is yet another way Domino's is using technology to improve our customer experience," says Patrick Doyle, president and CEO of Domino's Pizza, in an April 21 press release.
