Hybrid PayTech World Inc. is offering programs to allow application developers to incorporate the companys multi-operating-system payments technology.
Those who partner with Hybrid through the programs will have access to HybridConnect software, which integrates with new and existing software and enterprise platforms, as well as point of sale systems for accepting payments, Montreal-based Hybrid PayTech announced Nov. 11.
HybridConnect, a Web-based application interface, allows hardware manufacturers to deploy full payment systems. It also provides software integration for smartphones, tablets and enterprise payment distribution agencies, the company states in a press release.
Peripheral manufacturers can tap into Hybrid's existing connectivity with acquirers, allowing for instant go-to-market strategies with their resellers and distributors that will enable larger merchant portfolios, says Kevin Conabree, head of independent software vendor global partnerships at Hybrid PayTech, in the release.
HybridConnect can operate independently or in combination with the mobile application that runs on iOS, Android or Windows Mobile 5 and 6, the company says.
