Four months after partnering with linked2pay's
The payments services unit of the Independent Community Bankers of America will operate through linked2pay's white-label network to provide immediate payments through a single cloud-based software platform.
The service is also designed to help small-business customers manage cash flow and receivables, ICBA Bancard president and CEO Tina Giorgio said in an Aug. 3 press release.
In providing payments solutions for community banks, ICBA Bancard wants to offer those banks a new solution that will "help them better serve their small business customers and further establish community banks as the go-to partner for small-business payments solutions,” Giorgio added.
Through linked2pay’s real-time posting of funds functionality, community banks and their clients can immediately send and receive vendor payments, commission payouts and other payment forms in addition to sending or receiving real-time payments via e-mail or an application programming interface.
Upon acceptance, the payment posts in less than a second, ICBA says.
