LevelUp, Onosys partner to expand consumers’ order-ahead options

Boston-based mobile payments platform LevelUp is teaming with Onosys, a Cleveland-based maker of digital ordering platforms for restaurants, to help both companies expand consumers’ access to eateries with order-ahead capabilities.

Onosys already enables ordering ahead at major restaurant chains including Outback Steakhouse, Round Table Pizza and Boston Pizza, and the partnership will enable LevelUp users to instantly access that feature through the LevelUp app.

Orders placed through the LevelUp app to restaurants Onosys serves will flow through Onosys’s digital ordering platform to the appropriate restaurant’s point of sale system, creating a seamless experience for consumers, LevelUp said in a Wednesday press release.

“Our integration with Onosys provides merchants access to brand new customer acquisition channels, while also giving consumers more variety in the restaurants they can order from via the LevelUp app and the partner properties we cover,” Seann Moriarty, LevelUp’s head of partnerships, said in the release.

LevelUp recently announced a similar partnership with LuvJo, which provides order-ahead technology for small cafes and food trucks.
