LGE Community Credit Union has introduced a card-customization service, “Design Your Own Card,” powered by the technology of Serverside Group.
The service is available for personal Visa debit and credit cards, and the $800-million credit union soon plans to roll it out to its business accounts.
Cardholders may choose to upload their own photos or use designs from a number of galleries provided, including more than 30 patriotic, artistic and animal images. The first custom card per account is free; each additional card is $10.
Marietta, Ga.-based LGE, formerly Lockheed Georgia Employees Credit Union, is marketing the card program through multiple channels, including in branches and through brochures, email and online, including LGE’s Facebook page.
