Paya launches platform targeting SMBs

Paya, formerly Sage Payment Solutions, has rolled out a new platform supporting diverse types of consumer and B2B payments for small and midsize businesses.

Paya Connect enables software developers to adapt Paya's services for in-store and online payments including recurring payments, transaction processing, client boarding and enriched data for B2B transactions, according to a Wednesday press release.

The platform will roll out immediately to 2,000 resellers that serve Paya’s 100,000 customers, the release said.

The move follow’s Reston, Va.-based Paya’s rebranding early this year after its buyout from former U.K.-based parent Sage Group.

“Our partners can deliver solutions faster and enable their own customers to accept a wide range of payments, without the need for complicated software or connections at the point of sale,” said Greg Cohen, Paya’s president, in the release.
